On Aug 16, 2004, the State Council approved the establishment of the Tianjin Bonded Logistics Park, which integrated the advantages of the Port, Free Trade Zone and Export Processing Zone. The park provides a platform to fulfil various needs on international trading and distribution. This policy is so significant to the Tianjin Binhai New Area which is developing to be a worldwide manufacturing base and logistics centre.

About Jebsen (China) Logistics

Established in Mar 2006, Jebsen (China) Logistics is a joint venture between Jebsen & Co and Tianjin Huanya City Construction Development Co. The company owns warehouse facilities with a total area of 30,000sqm located in the Tianjin Bonded Logistics Park.

Jebsen (China) Logistics provides both domestic and overseas customers with a series of integrated and professional logistics services, including customs clearance, CIQ declaration, export tax rebates, import/export agency, warehouse management, freight forwarding, integrated distribution and logistics consultation.

Customers can enjoy a superimposed policy of free trade zone and export processing zone in the park. In addition, an advanced Warehouse Management System provides comprehensive and efficient logistics management to customers.

Business features

>The policy extends the function of the port into the Bonded Logistics Park; domestic cargo shipped to the BLP can enjoy export tax rebate immediately.

>All transit cargo can undergo vanning, devanning, and reconsolidation in the Tianjin BLP.

>The ‘one day tour’ service allows both export and re-import within the Bonded Logistics Park. It replaces physical cargo import and re-export via Hong Kong in the past, reducing logistics costs significantly.

>Imported goods can be stored in the BLP without time limitation.

>Domestic suppliers from different locations can transport their cargo to the BLP for consolidation to the same consignee.

Network and industry position

Jebsen has always been closely linked with trade and freight transport industries, because of the unique characteristics and development of its marketing and distribution business.

In 1971, the momentous achievement of working with Modern Terminals to jointly introduce the first Lufthansa Airlines 747 aircraft to Hong Kong changed the local air cargo scene.

In 2000, Jebsen continued its devotion to the logistics industry and set up Jebsen Logistics in Hong Kong, providing range of specialised logistics solutions, freight forwarding and related information for customers in Mainland China and the world’s major trade centres.

The professional team from Jebsen Logistics were dedicated, skilled in the industry, and hailed as the new generation of logistics experts.
